About us
Our mission
For generations, millions of smallholders produce high quality aquaculture products that feed exclusively on low trophic levels and detritus (unfed aquaculture). The grow out is supported by the gravitational force of the tides and productive surrounding mangroves. Such integrated aquaculture productions systems are an optimum under EU organic farming principles. We are working on innovative and protected technologies to fuse this production with existing but globally unsupplied market demands.

Organic production principles demand the compliance of all inputs with organic rules. The only input in extensive production systems of shrimps are the larvae of the Penaeus monodon shrimp species. We focus to establish the missing strain of Penaeus monodon that does not need eyestalk ablation for a commercially successful production of shrimp eggs (seed)

Several marine shrimp species grow out naturally in extensive aquaculture systems. The farmers know how to pre-grade under water the catch of all species and how to deliver the harvest to the collection points.
